It’s time to swap the Damsel in Distress for the Maiden in Mayfair, Virgo…
Virgo Season Ritual: I love myself as I am
No one loves a list more than a Virgo. A grocery list. An errand list. A to-do list. A travel list. A call them this weekend list. A what’s low in the cupboard list. A list of brands to call to see which works best for their needs. A list of what they need to change about themselves. A list of products to research. A list of presents to buy. A list of dream places to visit. A list of restaurants to visit. A supply list. A list of films to watch. A list of books to read. A list of niche stores to visit. A Virgo has a list for every seemingly practical thing that needs upkeep in their life, but there’s often a list they forget, or are too afraid to see what may be written down – A list of why I like/love myself, or even better, A list of why I’d be friends with me.
This season’s ritual may be easy for some signs, but the Maiden of Self-Deprecation can often tell you all the ways they could be better, while ignoring all facets that make them special. Each day of this Virgo season, or every other day, write down one self-affirming compliment to yourself. None of this, “I think I’m cool.” That’s too basic, and doesn’t show the dimensions of who you are. Something more like, “The smoothness of my personality is natural. I navigate anxiety inducing spaces and bodies like the creator, showing up as my cool, calm, and collected self.” Or “I never fear my mask falling, as I choose to always show up as my real self.”
Your only goal is to end the season with at least 15 compliments, solely about you! Not what others tell you are, but how you genuinely feel and know about yourself.
August 28, 2026 – Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Pisces 4°54
Do you see why you needed to get grounded and out of the clouds? Let’s not have to learn the lesson the hard way ever again.
This Full Moon in Pisces comes in with a Lunar Eclipse at a Cancer degree. In Western Astrology, Cancer is ruled by the Moon, but in Esoteric Astrology ruled by Neptune. A transit asking us less about the physical home and security, but more of the grounding and physical placement in our current reality. Both signs, Pisces and Cancer don’t fear dreaming, fantasizing their next big adventure, opening the blocked pathways of their journey with pure imagination. The fear steeps in when they begin to doubt the possibility of their ideas manifesting, or speak their desires to naysaying ears; which stalls Pisces until they are pulled out of this funk, but fuels Cancer to not only create the path but also burn the path leading to and from the Debbie Downer.
In lieu of reaching these extremes to get you to this point of a self-reality check, note what steps leading to this realization could be excluded next time. The emotional disruption and shadow-side sabotage that is done more for the plot, or due to an inability to regulate emotional outbursts. The living in the clouds, planning every action step mentally, only to execute at the 11th hour, or even passed deadline. Intertwined with a Lunar Eclipse, rather than illuminating what needs to be seen, we are welcoming revelations of necessary change, intense emotional waves, intuition, and insight, and consolidations or closures.
And to those who experience such forced grounding, which can come through with sudden battles of illness, fatigue, your period, or phantom pain to keep you close to home, isn’t trying to slow you down. It’s trying to refill your battery for what’s coming next.
Journal Prompts: Where am I performing for the plot, rather than performing for the reality I am currently in? What little steps can I take in the physical reality, during the mental planning stage, that don’t leave me scrambling last minute? Knowing my plan to execution style, what do I need to remove from, or replace in, my life to keep me grounded and on schedule? Knowing that ruminating in the fantasy forest keeps my fire to dream alive, how do I bring that fantasy into my tangible world with rules and boundaries for smooth integration, until fully ready to assimilate?

September 10, 2026 – New Moon in Virgo 18°26
With all the newness, you need a plan to sustain the growth. What’s the most efficient and practical system?
A New Moon in Virgo at a Virgo degree? It’s time to put your systems into play. We know you – especially Virgo, Libra, Aquarius, and Capricorn – have a plan, have had a plan, and just been waiting for the right person(s), or institutions, to team up with. So, for those who fall into this category, it’s important to review your plans one more time. Since last year when the South Node entered Virgo, you’ve been rejigging multiple ideas into one cohesive system that feeds into other projects, or creating a system of multiple entry points feeding one core center. Either way, have one more look now the South Node has released its grip on Virgo, and see what portion, if any, need removing, replacing, or restructuring. This should be a quick glance overview, not a dissection.
For those who have just arrived in the stages of newness overwhelm, create a manageable system that allows for personal growth through self-development, professional growth through being receptive to information and advice, and humility in both arenas throughout the novice to expert phases. The intention of personal self-development makes the dull moments necessary parts of the routine, receptivity to information and advice hones your discernment, and humility solidifies your invitation to spaces for YOU to decide whether you want to attend or not. It’s not about making waves to prove to the world, it’s about always proving something to yourself. The world already sees you, and treats you accordingly…how well do you see, and like, yourself?
Journal Prompts: What do I like most about the way I create systems and execute plans? What would I change, if anything, about how I create systems and execute plans? What daily boring action do I take, that enhances my day with little to no effort? Where have I misplaced the action of humility with ego? In what moments do I begin to compare my life, accomplishments, or status with other people? What are the common comparisons that arise? What is the emotion that arises when I begin the comparison and contrast catalogue?
