Cancers know to stay locked and loaded…do you?
Cancer Season Ritual:
Hearing the Words of my Emotions
It’s easy for a Cancer to feel and express those emotions, but what happens when you process logically, analytically, and devise a plan of self-development, not self-destruction.
During a moment of grief, emotional irregularity, outbursts, polar extremities of uncontrolled feelings, feel it. Now take yourself to a darkened room or space where there is enough area for you to lay down. Don’t try to make this place cozy, or perfect…just a simple mat on the floor will be more than enough.
Close your eyes, and take yourself back to that moment. Yes, the tears are most likely to pour, but as the emotion begins to bubble up, or those waves of tears are to crash on the shore, ask yourself, “What is the name of this emotion I’m feeling?” “What is this feeling connected to?” “What other words describe this feeling other than sadness and anger?”
As the words come through, make a mental list, or jot them down as they come to mind. Just be sure to close your eyes again to continue as soon as it’s been written.
Do this for up to 30 minutes, more isn’t necessary. Once you have compiled your list, go through every word written and ask yourself, “When was I last (insert word)?” “What/Who was the trigger?” “How did things play out?” “What was the end result?”
This ritual will help Cancerian people not overexert their emotions and energies that are often never returned, assist in rebalancing of the emotional body, while also seeing their repeated habits keeping the cycle going.
(P.S. This is a solo ritual, not a group project. Don’t be afraid to do this practice alone, without a sounding board.)

June 29, 2026 – Full Moon in Capricorn 8°14
A Full Moon in Capricorn at a Scorpio degree. What did you do to get here, because it just paid off? That risk you took cleared paths, opened doors, rained down miracles, and silenced the very loud and very wrong, very fast. It may seem like a fluke, especially on the same day Mercury goes retrograde, but it was just taking its sweet time to get to you. You know, the Universe was ensuring the car was registered, insured, and had an extended warranty before it arrived.(Jupiter enters Leo on the 30th, so again, it’s for you!)
Capricorn has a goal and goes after it, where that Scorpio energy allows for the rebirth of something that once looked dead. It may not be in the same avatar from when first introduced, but the foundational requirements and necessities to continue evolving were primed, for it to spin the block as desired.
Journal Prompts: How can I savor and secure this gift for growth, not hoarding? Now I see achieving my goals requires serial rebirth, what other areas in my life can I utilize this same concept? Knowing the power in transmutation, what rigid areas or habits could use an emotional release or softening?
July 14, 2026 – New Moon in Cancer 21°59
I’m going to take your hand while I say this, Sweetie… are you ready to get serious about relocation/moving/shifting gears/new prospects? Those pipe dreams will stay stuck in the drain with the hair you refuse to unclog until it backs up the sewer line and overflows, or bursts. Either way, this Cancer New Moon comes in at a Sagittarius degree, so there’s no running from the call of change, adventure, and substantial growth.
Deep in this Mercury Retrograde, a couple weeks into Jupiter in Leo, a little over a week away from the North Node shifting into Aquarius, Pluto in Aquarius, AND Chiron in Taurus… there’s a lot self-reflective and self-identifying questions floating around your head like gnats encircling you on a sweaty day. And the only way to get rid of those gnats is to cool off.
This moon, take the time to ground yourself in reality. Looking at what is before you, and making magic happen from those ingredients, rather than creating something brand new that won’t last. Cancer and Sagittarius can revamp anything and make it seem curated, crafted, and costly…so, don’t’ get stuck on what you don’t have right now. Use what you have and create what’s next.
Journal Prompts – What small constructive habits can I bring back into my life, to prepare for the move? Of the things I need to prep my vessel for this shift, what three skills or tangible objects in my possession can provide sturdy framework? What internal struggles do I need to work through, for this round to be successful?
